Corrections
Wrong somewhere? Tell us where.
A comparison site that dates its claims must expect to be checked against them. When a reader finds a miss, this is the route — and it's a short one.
How to report an error
Email editorial@reelshortlist.com with the page address, the claim you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — where the correct information can be verified (a link to the UKGC register entry or the operator's own terms is ideal). A screenshot helps when the issue is something an operator may change again.
Typical reports worth sending: a licence detail that has changed hands, a welcome offer whose type no longer matches our description, a dead link, or a factual slip on the facts page. Disagreement with a verdict is welcome too, though it travels as feedback rather than a correction — verdicts are judgements, and we own them.
What happens next
- Verification. We check the report against primary sources — usually the register or the operator's site. This normally takes a few working days.
- The fix. Confirmed factual errors are corrected in place and the page's "last checked" date is updated. If an error was material enough to affect a verdict, the operator is re-reviewed rather than patched.
- The reply. If you asked for one, you get an answer either way — including when we conclude the original text was right.
That is the whole process. No ticket numbers, no forms in triplicate — one mailbox and a duty to check.
