What we collect — and the longer list we don't

The data we actually process

• Email you send us. Writing to editorial@reelshortlist.com shares your address and whatever you include. We use it to answer you and to act on corrections; we keep correspondence only as long as the matter needs, and we never add senders to any mailing list — there isn't one.
• Basic visit statistics. Standard server-level information (pages requested, approximate visit counts, browser type) tells us which comparisons get read. It is aggregate, not profile-building.
• Preference storage. Your cookie-banner choice is remembered in your own browser's storage so we stop asking. Details in the cookie policy.

What never happens here

No accounts exist, so we hold no logins, no passwords and no gambling history — we couldn't see your play if we wanted to, because it happens on operators' sites under their own privacy policies. We sell no data to anyone. We run no advertising trackers that follow you across the web. Once you click through to an operator, that operator's policy governs; the tracking parameter in our link tells the operator a visitor came from us, and nothing about who you are.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You may ask what personal data we hold about you (for most visitors: none beyond any email you sent), request its correction or deletion, and object to processing. Requests go to editorial@reelshortlist.com and are answered within a month. If you believe we've handled your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Material changes to this policy will update the effective date above — a static site has no way to notify you, so the date is the signal.
